Exercise

topic posted Fri, January 25, 2008 - 5:27 AM by  Fairylite
I'm in recovery after a hysterectomy in late August of last year. I fear the pain & soreness of exercise that I should be doing to help me after. I can't afford to go swimming right now due to money & time of year (winter). I see a counselor for this too, but still fear & feel stuck.

Any thoughts & help would be appreciated.

When it comes to exercise, it helps sometimes to just do what you like to do. There are tons of inexpensive home DVD workouts, from yoga and mild stretching to more vigorous aerobic ones.
There are even belly dancing DVDs that the belly dancing tribes can recommend. Belly dancing is not only good exercise and fun, but it is healing for a woman's body.
